Join Us on Sunday
Every Sunday at 10:30 AM
1027 Dixie Drive, Clute, TX 77531
Sunday morning is the time we set aside each week to gather as a whole family in worship. For almost 2,000 years, the weekly gathering of Christians has been the center of life within the church. Everyone is welcome to worship with us on Sundays at Grace, whether you are new to the faith or have been a believer for years.
What to Expect
We know that the first time in a new place can be intimidating and maybe a little nerve-wracking. We want you to feel welcomed and comfortable when you join us for the first time, so we've made a list of some things that may be helpful to know.
- A Warm Welcome: Our team will greet you on Sunday with a friendly smile, help you find your way, answer questions you may have (or find someone who can), and make you feel right at home. We also offer a safe & fun environment for kids 6 mos. to 4th grade. Ask one of our team members wearing a badge and they can help you get to the kids' check-in area.
- Liturgical Worship: We believe the corporate worship of the church should tell the story of God. We intentionally plan our worship gathering to remind you of God's saving love in Christ and to reorient your life around Him. In our gatherings we sing together, read Scriptures, confess our sin to God, confess our faith through the creeds, and take communion.
- Teaching from the Bible: We are committed to the expositional teaching of the Bible in our gathering each week. Exposition simply means that we seek to "expose" the meaning communicated by the original author to the original audience rather than "impose" our own meaning on the text. Whether you have been a believer for a long time or are completely new to church, our goal is that you walk away understanding how the Bible speaks to our lives today.
- A Time to Respond: At Grace, we believe that "obedience is better than sacrifice." (1 Sam. 15:22) What we mean by that is the worship gathering is not like temple service where we come offer worship to God and do nothing in response. We want to be obedient to all that God has commanded in His Word. As we respond to the Word through communion and prayer, we also invite one another to take the next step in our life with Jesus. This could be trusting Jesus for the first time, baptism, church membership, or serving in a ministry God is calling you to.
