Statement of Faith
It does make a difference what you believe.
The Bible
We believe that the Bible was written by God through human authors, is without error in the original manuscripts, and is the supreme and final authority in the lives of believers. (2 Tim. 3:16; Acts 24:14; Psalm 119:96)
God
We believe in one God, eternal and self-existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1:26; John 1:1-4, 12; Matt. 28:19)
Man
We believe that all mankind participated in Adam's fall from his original, sinless state and are thus lost in sin and separated from God (apart from the atoning sacrifice of Christ). (Rom. 5:12-16, 19)
Jesus Christ
We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ and that He entered the human race as the virgin-born son of Mary. (Matt. 1:18, 24-25; Isa. 9:6; John 8:58)
Crucifixion
We believe Jesus died upon the cross as the sinless substitute for all sinners, sufficient for all who repent and believe.
Resurrection
We believe Jesus arose bodily from the dead on the third day. (Matt. 28:1-20; John 20:1-21; 1 Peter 1:3; Rom. 6:4, 11)
Regeneration
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of lost and sinful mankind. (John 3:3-8; Titus 3:5)
Salvation
We believe that the one and only way to salvation is through faith and faith alone, in Jesus Christ as both Savior and Lord. (John 14:6; Rom. 3:28; Eph. 2:8-9)
Christian Life
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells all who receive Jesus Christ and enables the process of sanctification in each believer. (John 14:16-17; Gal. 5:16; 2 Cor. 3:18; Hebrews 10:14)
